Processing of personal data of clients Personal data of customers or suppliers are processed by Re-encounter Counselling for the following purpose (s): • Administrative purposes; • Communication about scheduling appointments • To provide care and implement the treatment plan

Your personal data will be stored by Re-encounter Counselling for the processing mentioned above for the period: • During the term of the treatment agreement and thereafter only in the financial administration for a maximum of 5 years.
Provision to third parties We may provide the information you give to us to third parties only if this is necessary for the execution of the above described purposes. For instance we use a third party for: • Taking care of the financial administration;
We never pass on personal data to other parties with whom we have not entered into a processor agreement. With these parties (processors), we of course make the necessary arrangements to ensure the security of your personal data. The storage contains a physical and a digital part. The personal data (base file, signed treatment plan and consent form) are physically stored. The therapist’s notes are stored separately. Your therapist is the only person who has access to these data and she has a legal duty of confidentiality (professional secrecy).
There is a digital storage of data for accounting purposes that is protected with a password and which is only accessible to the person responsible for the file.
All persons who can take note of your data on behalf of Re-encounter Counselling are obliged to maintain their confidentiality;
We use a username and password policy on all our systems;
We pseudonymise and ensure the encryption of personal data if there is reason to do so;
We make encrypted backups of the personal data in order to be able to recover these in the event of physical or technical incidents;
We regularly test and evaluate our measures;
