I am a degreed psychologist/psychotherapist, a certified couples & family therapist and certified EFT therapist & supervisor. I have 20 plus years of experience with counselling, psychotherapy and coaching of adults and couples. I am in private practice since 2002. I've helped clients from various cultures and with different sexual orientations.

Emotionally Focused couples therapy (EFT): building a stronger connection I am a certified EFT therapist and supervisor. I work with EFT since 2009. EFT was developed by Dr Sue Johnson, psychotherapist and professor (now emeritus) and at the University of Ottawa and Dr Les Greenberg. It is a structured and process-oriented approach to couples therapy. EFT helps couples to get their disputes under control and create safety in their relationship, making it possible to enhance or repair their emotional bond. It has been extensively researched and consistently shown to produce good results for the last 15 years. Studies find that more than 7 out of 10 couples treated with EFT move from distress to recovery and approximately 9 out of 10 show significant improvements. Its outstanding success has been heralded in many scientific journals, professional magazines and media such as the New York Times and Psychology Today.
